I liked this article a lot. As the global warming gets worse, it makes you roll you eyes when you read about the people who have seem to have everything, but can't be bothered to reduce on the amount of stuff they own or use. I personally think it is ironic and slightly funny that John McCain said he would try to cut back on global warming when he himself, owns 7-10 houses. Is that really what we want running our country? I also think that people who are "filthy rich" are not expected to deal with things like global warming. They are used to what they want, when they want it, and how they want it. There are no limits on what they can have or do. It is sort of sad that those people who influence society everyday couldn't set better examples on how to live and act.
This article was useful for me because it was about the 'trendiness' of going green. For the people in the article, going green, (in all aspects of life), is not a big priority.
